About BIG Daddy's Bar-B-Que

Charles Wilson founded BIG Daddy's Bar-B-Que in a unique way and it is quickly becoming Polk County's favorite barbeque experience for many loyal customers.

One day while driving in the Davenport, FL area, Bishop Wilson, as he is known because of his unique gift and style of preaching the word of God and saving souls, was given a sign that he should purchase his first slow smoker that was being sold on the side of the highway.  At that time he was not sure what he was going to do with it. 

Bishop Wilson eventually was successful so he purchased several other slow smokers but did not have a name for his venture. As he thought about a good name for the business he suddenly noticed a picture of his late father, who was also a preacher and a tremendous inspiration to him and many others in the community, He affectionately called him Big Daddy and from that day on his operation was named BIG Daddy's after his father!  The loyal customers have been raving ever since...."BIG Daddy's Bar-B-Que has "The Best Taste in World".
